Key finding
Invasive plants, animals and pathogens pose a threat to Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage values.
A variety of invasive plant and animal species affect the values of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, however there are areas which have not been invaded by introduced species.
Introduced pathogens, such as the soil-borne water mould Phytophthora cinnamomi, are also affecting ecosystems by changing species composition.
